We are the York South—Weston Federal NDP. Our team is made up of volunteers, residents and community advocates who come from across the neighbourhoods within the riding.
Located in the west end of Toronto, York South-Weston coveres the heart of the old City of York. The boundaries of our electoral riding are south of the 401, north of St Clair Ave, between the Humber River, and the rail line just to the east of Keele Street. The following neighbourhoods are included: Pelmo Park, Weston, Rustic, Maple Leaf, Amesbury, Keelesdale, Silverthorne, Clearview Heights, Upper Junction, Stockyards, Harwood, Rockcliffe Smythe, Roselands, and Mount Dennis. Approximately 116,686 residents live here.
The federal York South-Weston NDP is an active political riding association of Canada's NDP, led by Jagmeet Singh.
The York South-Weston Federal NDP works to have an active presence in our community and on the issues that matter. This seat was held by Mike Sullivan from 2011 - 2015. Our current federal candidate seeking election is Hawa Yahia Mire.
